Shaolin Warrior Wrestling Worth Watching

CIMA/Gao Jinjai vs. T-Hawk/Scorpio X2 Dragon Gate 5/4/18

CIMA went over to China to train Shaolin Martial Artists how to wrestle, he brought a couple of his trainees to a Dragon Gate show, and it was really fun to watch rookies break out some truly nutso moves. Gao Jinjai especially was bonkers, he used CIMA's back to springboard into a 450, he hit a 720 splash, and especially impressive he did a spot where he leaped from the floor to the ring apron and in one motion leaped over the top rope into a double stomp, it was one of the most impressive athletic spots I can ever remember seeing, truly breathtaking.  Scorpio X2 is clearly a crazy athlete too, and he hit a perfect Space Flying Tiger Drop. I actually think this would have made a list with a more impressive rudo performance, but the T-Hawk and CIMA sections were pretty mailed in. I still don't care about regular DG, but I am all in to check out more crazy Shaolin Monks.

Yoshiaki Fujiwara Takes Crooked Paths and Will be Found Out

Yoshiaki Fujiwara vs. Osamu Arai Kingdom 11/21/02 - FUN

Weird match which was on what I think was a MMA show (earlier Kingdom shows were clearly works, but I think this show was all MMA fighters), but wasn't particularly worked like a fake shoot. Osamu Arai is a tubby dude who seems kind of lost whenever he ends up on the mat. It is always fun to watch Fujiwara grapple, and he has some cool moments, including a great application of a head and arm choke. We have a great Fujiwara finish too, with Arai rushing in after hitting a couple of bad looking suplexes, and getting countered right into a Fujiwara armbar. Still not sure what this was, but kind of a fun discovery.
I am a fan of old man brawls, and this is what we have here. Basically someone stole the last pudding at lunch and they are going at it. Headbut Fujiwara is the least of the Fujiwara's, but even lower end Fujiwara is worth checking out. Koshinaka will still take his hip and slam it into the side of someones head hard. It needed a bit more energy to push this past FUN, this meandered a bit, which isn't usually a problem for either guy.
