Low-Ki Advent Calendar Night 3: Ki vs. Callihan 1

Low-Ki vs. Sami Callihan JAPW 3/26/11 - GREAT

PAS:  This opens with a pretty great angle with Sami getting into Ki's face at the merch table, including menacing some kids and flipping the table and them having to be pulled apart (Sami yells "Your a Hero? I'm an Anti-Hero" he was always a total cornball). This is a classic Ki asskicking match with moments that verge on unprofessional, in the early moments of the match Ki flies through the ropes with a dropkick and total jams Sami's neck and sends him into the guardrail. In the most famous moment of this match Callihan slaps Ki in the face and Ki responds with a receipt which looks like it knocked Callihan unconscious, couldn't tell if it was legit or great selling and I don't really care. Match went on for a long time after that, and it really felt like that should have been closer to the apex, we also had kind of a weird finish with a Dickinson run in and a roll up for a two count and then Ki just making Sami tap with a face lock (he might have broken his jaw with a kick right before that which would make it a rad finish, but it was hard to tell.) I love this match up so much, Callihan is a nut, and willing to take a uncalled for beating, and willing to strike back just as hard, its what made the Finlay matches so great, and what makes him such a great Ki foil.
