All Japan Motherload - Dory Funk Jr. vs. Blackjack Lanza - AJPW 12/13/78

ER: In which Dory looks like a badass yet relatable and understated David Morse character, telling a great story to a bunch of barflies about how he got the bandage on his head, and had yet to transition into being your fuddy duddy woodshop teacher. This is clipped but still brings it, as Dory wriggles out of a headscissors in nice fashion, then begins taking apart Lanza's knee. Lanza locks in a CLAW that I buy fully into, and then Dory begins fighting out of the claw by punching and kicking at Lanza's knee, and Lanza is desperately holding the claw while his knee is torn apart and his hair is going full Big Ern McCracken. Dory gets a super high knee breaker and this shit is academic. This is a Dory you could get comfortable with.
